Clean and light. White is the base, green is the accent, dark green is used sparingly for feature bands and the footer. Hex is now the real brand palette pulled from the logo suite (Tākawa orange is still provisional).

Space Grotesk for headings (characterful, geometric sans), Montserrat for body and labels. Headings are tight and confident; body is calm and readable. Section headings are bilingual: English at rest, te reo on hover (see Headings).

The only dark surface. Flat Ngāhere green, Bone text, used for the purpose statement, CTA and footer. Sparingly.

The Kawakawa Pātiki overlay lays over dark bands, images or video. Cream on transparent, anchored bottom-right, no repeat, kept subtle so text stays legible. Add class="pattern-br" to any dark section or image wrapper.
The overlay adds texture to the bottom-right corner without overwhelming the message.
